    Treatment of Speech Sound Disorders

    We work with children to practice correct sound placement and build confidence in their communication abilities through engaging and interactive activities. We help children improve their speech sound productions to enhance clarity and ensure they are understood by others.

    Expressive Language Support

    AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication)

    Supporting children who benefit from alternative communication methods, such as sign language or communication devices, to ensure they can effectively connect with others. We assess each child's individual communication needs and provide training for families and caregivers to help integrate AAC tools into everyday life

FAQs

How It Works

    Consultation

    The initial consultation consists of a complimentary 15 minute phone call to discuss your concerns regarding your child’s speech and language skills. This call will determine if a speech-language evaluation is recommended for your child.

    Initial Evaluation

    At the initial evaluation, a case history will be collected and an in-depth parent interview will occur. Your child will be asked to participate in standardized and /or informal assessments. The initial evaluation will last approximately 1 hour. Results will be discussed following the evaluation and a treatment plan will be established if recommended.

    Treatment

    The frequency of speech therapy sessions are recommended based on the clinical findings of the evaluation while also taking into account caregiver preferences. Therapy sessions are 45 minutes.
